CAUSES AND REMEDIES FOR PANIC AND ANXIETY ATTACKS

With the present economic conditions of the world coupled with what everyone is passing through, it calls for people to be panicking and allow anxiety in their bodies because everybody wants a better future.
But when we look at it very well, we will see that panic and anxiety cannot solve the problems on ground, instead, it would aggravate and worsen the situation.and eventually cause sickness or even untimely death to the affected individuals.
The phenomenon (Recession / inflation) is a global issue that affects every country of the world, but that doesn't mean we should allow it to weigh us down. Instead, we need to be uptimistic and put our faiths in God, and have the assurance that no condition is permanent.

Panic and anxiety share some common characteristics, while anxiety is a feeling of unease which can range from mild to severe, and it can include feeling of fear and worry. Panic is the most severe form of anxiety. This form of attacks tends to last between five and sixty minutes depending on the body chemistry of the affected individuals.
Panic and anxiety are the most common types of mental disorders which affect nearly thirty five percent of adults at some points in their lives. But basically, anyone can experience panic attacks, in order words, people of all ages including children, youths and adults can experience it.

Panic attacks also have physical symptoms which include shaking of the body, feeling disoriented, , rapid or irregular heartbeats, dry mouth, nausea,, inability to breathe well, profuse sweating even in cold weather, dizziness etc. Though some of these symptoms of panic and anxiety are not that dangerous but they can be very frightening.

Panic and anxiety attacks can be traced to life stress, e.g severe illness, or loss of a loved one, traumatization such as sexual assaults or tragic accident, downturn in one's life such as unemployment, delay in marriage or child bearing, promise and failure, loss of properties due to natural or artificial occurrence, lack of happy home among couples.

However, anxiety and panic disorders are treatable, and there are numbers of treatments for it today, these treatments enable the affected person to live a normal and productive live. Among these treatments are seeking counseling from an experienced practitioner, exercise is another way of getting rid of it, such a person should desist from loneliness, he/she should associate with matured and Goodly people, he/she should put his/her faith in God, the concerned person should partake in congregational worship to listen to the testimony of the people of God, he/she should listen to the music of his/her desire, and lastly eating balanced diet is also a good one to resuscitate the body.

In conclusion, panic and anxiety are not the best when the situation is not palatable, but instead, try to be focused, put your faith in God and move with people of God, engage in worshipping together , and avoid loneliness.
