CAUSES OF TECH NECK AND THE REMEDIES

Tech neck is a term used to describe neck pain and related symptoms that result from prolonged use of electronic devices , such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. When you bend your head forward to look at a screen for extended periods, it puts strain on your neck muscles, spine, and upper back , leading to discomfort or even long-term health issues. Causes of Tech Neck: Common Symptoms: Stiffness or pain in the neck and shoulders Headaches Tingling or numbness in arms or hands Poor posture (e.g., rounded shoulders or forward head position) Why It Matters: The human head weighs about 10–12 pounds. When you tilt it forward at a 45-degree angle (common with phone use), the stress on your neck can increase to  about 40–50 pounds ! Over time, this can lead to  chronic neck and spine problems.
